, you will be the first point of contact for customers raising concerns about their vehicles. You'll combine your strong technical and mechanical expertise with outstanding customer service skills to identify, triage, and support the resolution of vehicle issues. Acting as the bridge between the customer and the workshop, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and transparent repair process from start to finish.
This role is ideal for an experienced Vehicle Technician or Mechanic who is looking to move away from a workshop-based position into a more customer-facing role. It also suits individuals stepping back from a management position but who wish to remain hands-on with technical work.

Who You Are:
Ideally hold a
Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance Qualification
Must hold at least a
Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance Qualification
Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
Enjoys variety in daily tasks and meeting new people
Holds a full UK driving licence (manual & automatic)
Customer service experience:
1 year (required)
Automotive technical knowledge and workshop experience desirable
Strong communication skills (face-to-face, phone, digital channels)
Ability to balance technical expertise with a customer-first approach
Main Responsibilities:
Meet customers face to face and discuss vehicle concerns
Carry out vehicle diagnostic checks and road tests to identify issues
Provide accurate cost estimates for required work
Manage appointments and schedule customers in the diary system
Support the workshop team when triage appointments are limited
Create detailed job cards/work instructions for the workshop team
Complete vehicle health checks with video presentations for customers
Stay updated on manufacturer technology and training
Maintain detailed service records for every vehicle
Deliver exceptional customer service, handling concerns and complaints professionally
