DIAL Adviser (Disability Information & Advice Line)- 30 hours a week over 4 or 5 days

Working hours:
30 hours per week worked over 4 or 5 days,
must include a Friday working 9am-4:30pm

DIAL Adviser
.
In this role, you'll support people with health conditions or a disability to live more independently, understand their rights, and access vital services, whether it's benefits, housing, employment, or wellbeing.
You'll be offering advice that truly changes lives, via phone, email, video calls, and face-to-face depending on circumstances.

Refer clients to internal and external services, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Develop and maintain accessible information resources for clients and staff.
Stay informed about relevant benefits, legislation, and training opportunities.
Maintain accurate client records on our case management system and follow up to ensure positive outcomes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience in advice or rights-based roles.
Knowledge of welfare entitlements, especially for disabled people and carers.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Proficient user of Microsoft packages specifically outlook.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills / Experience
Experience working with disabled people or those facing daily challenges.
Familiarity with the Equality Act (2010) and the Care Act (2014).
