Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Die Caster to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating die casting machines and ensuring the production of high-quality metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate and monitor die casting machines to produce metal components according to specifications. Set up and adjust machinery, including programmable logic controllers, to optimise production efficiency. Perform milling operations and handle materials safely throughout the production process. Conduct assembly tasks, ensuring all components meet quality standards. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols in the warehouse environment.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques and materials handling. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and machinery. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and their applications in manufacturing processes. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, particularly in assembly or machining roles.
