Job Description
:
We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworker with strong 5-ton digger operating skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and capable of carrying out a variety of groundwork and excavation tasks to a high professional standard.
Responsibilities:
Reducing ground levels as required Excavating for services and drainage Excavating for kerbs and preparing kerb lines Laying and leveling Type 1 sub-base Operating a 5T excavator safely and efficiently Working a
9-hour shift
Ensuring all work is delivered to specification and in line with health & safety standards Maintaining a clean and organised work area Collaborating effectively with site supervisors and other team membersRequirements:
Proven experience in groundwork and excavation Competent 5T digger operator CSCS/CPCS/NPORS certification preferred Strong understanding of site safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliability, professionalism, and good communication skills
