As a Digital Account Manager at GAIN, you will manage a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market clients across various sectors. You'll act as the key partner for our clients and operational lead for digital marketing activity, delivering impactful campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, and SEO. This is a senior Account Manager role designed for someone confident leading integrated digital strategies, with strong commercial insight and the ability to build trusted client relationships.

Client relationship management



Act as the primary contact for clients, building strong, lasting partnerships. Lead regular 1:1s, reviews, and quarterly performance sessions. Oversee onboarding, service quality and satisfaction.

Strategy & campaign planning



Develop strategic, channel-integrated digital plans tailored to client goals. Align business targets with SMART campaign objectives. Guide delivery teams to execute aligned, measurable activity.

Campaign execution & team coordination



Brief and coordinate cross-functional teams (Digital Media, SEO,

Content, Social, Data & Analytics).

Manage internal timelines, approvals and resourcing. Monitor KPIs to ensure strong delivery against commercial objectives.

Budget & commercial management



Manage client budgets with accuracy and commercial oversight. Track against value delivered and flag optimisation opportunities. Identify growth opportunities across service lines.

Reporting & insights



Lead the preparation and delivery of performance reports. Extract actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Stay ahead of trends and apply innovation where relevant.

Collaboration & best practice



Support sales/pitch processes with insight and leadership. Share learnings and campaign improvements with the wider team. Stay current with industry tools, tech and strategic thinking.

Requirements:

Key skills & experience



3+ years in digital account management (agency experience preferred). Strong working knowledge of digital marketing services, including Paid Search, Paid Social, and SEO. Proven ability to lead strategy conversations and performance reviews. Comfortable managing large clients and multiple, senior stakeholders. Skilled in client comms, reporting, and presentation. Proficient in GA4, Google Ads, Meta, and other key tools. Confident managing budgets and commercial performance.
