About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager to join our growing agency team. This role combines strategic account management with hands-on digital expertise, working with clients across ecommerce website development and digital marketing campaigns.
You'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing relationships from project inception through to long-term growth. This role requires someone who can balance the technical demands of ecommerce project management with the creative and analytical needs of digital marketing campaign delivery.
Key responsibilities
When we sign a new brand or retailer client for ecommerce and digital marketing services, we need you to take the reins on the strategy, project delivery, and ongoing success of the account.
Ecommerce build and trading management
When Sales have sold - that's where you step in and bring the client's success to life.
Validate client requirements, translating these into clear project briefs.
Manage website build project plans, deliverables, and time tracking - on time and on budget.
Coordinate with internal and external developers.
Ensure website optimisation and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) tactics are scoped and implemented effectively.
Provide strategic guidance on client ecommerce platforms (Shopify, TikTok Shop, custom builds) to maximise growth and conversion.
Digital marketing strategy and execution
Plan and manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies to create success for our clients.
Own the rollout of multi-channel digital campaigns for clients; including organic and paid search, paid media, and social media advertising across platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok.
Ensure all marketing activity aligns with client objectives and brand guidelines.
Client relationship management
Act as the main day-to-day contact for your assigned client portfolio (typically 2-10 active clients).
Take ownership of client success.
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, proactively managing client expectations.
Identify opportunities for account growth and service expansion.
Performance and analytics
Use analytics tools to provide clear reports on campaign performance, ROI, and opportunities for improvement for clients
Set up reports and analyse Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social platform data to inform strategy
Monitor and optimise client ecommerce platforms for maximum conversion
Essential requirements
Whilst you won't be expected to do the coding, you'll need to know what it takes to build a website - you must understand how to build and run high-quality, high-performing ecommerce websites.
4+ years of experience in a digital account management, project management, or similar client-facing role.
Proven experience managing ecommerce website projects (Shopify experience highly desirable) - including understanding of technical ecommerce considerations (integrations, payment gateways, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Google Ads, GA4 and Tag Manager including set up and optimisation
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights confidently to clients.
Impeccable organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proactive mindset with excellent initiative and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent spelling and grammar.
A passion for the industry - staying current with developments in ecommerce, digital marketing, and platform updates through regular learning.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices.

Agency background with experience managing multiple client accounts.
