We're growing and looking for a
Digital Accountant
to join our friendly, ambitious, and values-driven team. This is an opportunity to work closely with the founder, manage your own client portfolio, and play a key role in our next stage of growth. The role is hybrid, with a mix of working from our South Oxfordshire office (OX10) and working from home.
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Preparing and filing Corporation Tax and self-assessment tax returns
Reviewing and finalising VAT returns and management accounts
Supporting or reviewing bookkeeping and reconciliations where needed
Managing your own client portfolio and building strong, proactive relationships
Helping clients understand their numbers and providing clear, practical advice
Keeping up to date with accounting standards and tax changes
Spotting ways to improve internal systems and client workflows
Working with cloud accounting tools daily (Xero, Apron, etc) and helping clients use them confidently

What Makes You a Good Fit
AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent) as a minimum; ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or QBE also welcome
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an accountancy practice, managing a range of clients
Confident preparing year-end accounts and tax returns independently
Strong knowledge of Xero and other cloud tools (certifications are a plus)
Great communicator - able to explain accounts and tax clearly to clients
Organised, reliable, and able to manage your own workload and deadlines
Positive, proactive, and enjoy problem-solving
The Details
Hours: Open to both Full-time or Part-Time - just want to find the right person!
Salary: 32,000-40,000 depending on experience
Location: Hybrid - South Oxfordshire (OX10) office with flexible working from home
