Eden is looking for a new and super keen Digital & Social Marketing Apprentice. As Eden expands its digital marketing offer, you will be an integral part of the team, providing digital and social media support to the PR account teams and reporting directly to the Head of Digital & Social. No two days are the same at Eden, though you can expect your average day to include:
Researching content ideas for social media
Working with PR Account team to provide information on best days and times to post content on social platforms
Schedule content on social media (using Hootsuite) in line with your recommendations
Upload news articles to Eden and our clients' blogs, utilising SEO techniques
Aid with bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly client reports using data on Google Analytics to provide Account Execs with PR referral traffic, social and blog post performance with analysis and suggestions
Aid Account Execs with client email newsletter (utilising MailChimp)
Provide support and suggestions for campaign strategies from a digital perspective
Work with the Head of Digital & Social to review, implement and facilitate website changes such as Google Analytics Events Tracking
Work with the Head of Digital & Social to review and work on campaign and on-going strategies for clients
Review overall social media & digital performance providing analysis and suggestions Eden runs an internal Eden Academy training scheme where all staff join, to advance their skills in digital marketing and social media
You will partake in the training along with all staff to gen-up on all things digital and social marketing as well as having ongoing support from the Head of Digital & Social Media. Along with Account Execs, you will document putting the skills you've learned in training, into practice, using the STAR model (Situation, Task, Action, Result).

Creative thinking and confidence are important, as you'll be working on integrated marketing and PR campaigns
An eager mind, attention to detail and strong communication skills are also important, contributing your ideas in group settings and working with other members of the team
You must be a competent writer and comfortable writing in different tones and styles - from Facebook posts, to aiding with press releases
Being a logical thinker and an effective problem-solver are important, likewise being quick-on-your-feet and adaptable to changing situations
A-C/8-4 or equivalent in English and maths is desirable.
Digital Marketer Level 3 - https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/digital-marketer-v1-1 Functional Skills English and maths (Level 2 is required). Day release - One day per week to Nottingham College 18 month duration. Please note that as this is an apprenticeship standard you will be required to sit an end point assessment. Following a successful and completed apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity for a permanent role within the company.
