Role Purpose

This is a hands-on opportunity to build a career in digital design and marketing. You'll help update and grow our WordPress website, support lead generation campaigns, create graphics and content, and develop real marketing skills along the way.

You'll be encouraged to take ownership, explore new tools, and bring your ideas to the table, supported by a team that works smart, shares knowledge, and cares about the details.

Key Responsibilities

Update and maintain our WordPress website Assist in building new web pages and future e-commerce content Contribute to SEO through page structure, metadata, and keyword work Design digital graphics and marketing content using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Support the production and editing of short-form videos and content snippets Collaborate on lead generation strategies and digital campaign planning Monitor basic web analytics and recommend improvements Keep up to date with digital marketing and web design trends

About You

We're looking for someone with creativity, curiosity, and a drive to learn. Formal experience isn't required - what matters most is your mindset and potential.

You'll ideally:

Be interested in web design, digital marketing, or creative media Be familiar with tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator Have some exposure to WordPress or website builders (helpful, not essential) Communicate clearly in writing and visuals Be self-motivated, organised, and open to feedback Take the initiative, not just waiting for instructions Want to build a career in digital, marketing, or content creation See design as a way to simplify, engage, and solve problems

We also value:

A solid grasp of design fundamentals (layout, colour, typography) Creative thinking and a proactive approach to challenges The ability to communicate visually and clearly

Logistics

Full UK Driving Licence required (for occasional travel to content shoots or events) You must have the legal right to work in the UK You must be aged 16 or over and not in full-time education You must be eligible to enrol on a recognised Level 3 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship You must be able to regularly commute to Torbay for team collaboration
