About the role:





This is an excellent opportunity to be working with top brands in the action sports and apparel industry, assisting with the flow and demand of photographic imagery within a diverse business.





The role centres around the post-production and management of product imagery for our 40+ brands, ensuring high quality imagery is available across all online platforms, print, social and digital media. This primarily involves the editing, retouching and cataloguing of all images from our photography studio, whilst working towards deadlines for various seasonal catalogue launches and releases throughout the year.




What will I be accountable for?




In house photography: Working closely with studio photographer on post-production, Photoshop retouching and cataloguing of in-house product photography. Cataloguing & archiving: Taking the lead on cataloguing (renaming, filing) and organisation of all product imagery on internal servers. Circulating throughout the business where required. B2B: Uploading processed and supplied product imagery to B2B and NAV systems, ensuring high quality imagery is available across all platforms. D2C: Working closely with an external eCom team to ensure all imagery is supplied in the correct format for each brand site, to a strict product launch schedule. Communicating with colleagues, vendors, customers and clients to manage various image and asset requirements. Planning: Plan ahead for large product drops and meet agreed deadlines. Daily and weekly checks of stock and arrival dates on NAV, ensuring all live items on the B2B have imagery. Attending weekly team meetings. Sharing best practice with colleagues. Any other duties as may be required from time to time.




JOB REQUIREMENTS


Person Profile:




Sharp eyes and meticulous attention to detail for quality and accuracy within photographic images. Excellent organisational skills and ability to work efficiently on a range of duties. Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately, whilst adhering to defined brand guidelines. Ability to stay calm and focused when working under pressure towards tight deadlines. Passion and/or knowledge for the action sports industry.




Education and Experience:




Experience in a similar role with first hand Photoshop retouching skills. Must have proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite, notably Photoshop and Bridge. Proficient use of Mac OSX. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Excel formulas and data analysis would be beneficial. Knowledge of HTML/CSS would be an advantage. Photography studio experience would be an advantage.
