Digital Business Manager
to help maximise profitability from incoming leads and support the group in achieving key performance indicators and targets. In this role, youll be at the forefront of ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless, compliant, and positive experience, while guiding and developing our Sales and Service teams.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and convert digital leads effectively to maximise profitability and achieve business targets
Ensure all customers are provided with finance quotes and presented with the benefits of additional products
Submit finance applications to lenders with accuracy, speed, and compliance
Coach, develop, and support Sales and Service teams to optimise performance and customer outcomes
Provide remote support to customer-facing Business Managers as required
Take deposits and ensure accurate completion of all associated records and procedures
Maintain accuracy across internal DMS systems, proposal platforms, and other digital tools
Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal directives relating to finance and product sales
Promote balanced, customer-focused sales, ensuring fair treatment of all customers
Encourage customer feedback and reviews to support continuous improvement and brand reputation
Person Specification:
Essential
Strong commercial awareness with proven ability to manage digital sales leads and drive profitability
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and engage teams and customers
Experience in automotive finance, digital sales, or a customer-focused management role
Knowledge of FCA compliance requirements and best practices in finance/product sales
Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve performance goals
IT literate with experience using DMS systems, CRM tools, and digital proposal platforms
Professional, proactive, and adaptable with a can do approach
Desirable
Previous experience in an automotive or finance-related environment
Understanding of customer journey optimisation in a digital environment
Track record of delivering results against KPIs and business targets
Full UK driving licence
