Hope for the Future is looking for an ambitious and creative Digital Communications Freelancer to help shape and deliver powerful, on-brand communications across our digital channels. This is a freelance, flexible role where you'll use your digital skills to create engaging content, grow our online presence, and inspire people to take action on climate and nature. From social media campaigns and compelling e-newsletters to case studies and creative assets, you'll play a key role in ensuring diverse voices are heard in the fight for a fairer, greener future. Working closely with our Fundraising & Marketing Director, you'll lead on digital storytelling, track performance, and test new approaches to help us connect with more people and drive change. This is a great opportunity for someone to apply their existing digital content creation and social media skills in a climate action and political context

Content Creation: Develop and schedule engaging content and social media posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, in our newsletter and on our website Campaign Support: Collaborate with the team to promote upcoming events and campaigns. Storytelling: Share success stories and highlight the impact of HFTF's work, on our blog, socials etc., and develop case studies to illustrate the elements and impacts of our work. Website support: Update the website with new content such as blog posts and new information about our services with guidance from our team. Community Engagement: Engage with and respond to content, comments and messages across socials, fostering a supportive online environment. Analytics & Improvement: Monitor performance metrics and suggest how we can adapt and improve content to increase engagement.
You'll help amplify our message and engage new audiences through creative digital content. You'll play a vital role in showcasing our work, promoting our events and training, and in supporting our campaigns and our partners' campaigns across social media, on our website and in our newsletter.

This role will give you chance to contribute to meaningful climate action and democratic engagement.

Qualifications



Strong marketing and communication skills Experience in social media management and content creation Proficiency in SEO and project management Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop Knowledge of Google Ads and analysis skills Competence in copywriting and using Microsoft Excel Excellent organizational and time management abilities Understanding of climate change issues and digital outreach strategies
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 170.00-200.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 7 per week
