Digital Compliance Specialist

AGCO Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Compliance Specialist to join its legal team in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire UK.

The Digital Compliance Specialist position is responsible for supporting the AGCO global data privacy program in collaboration with the regional Legal Teams. This position would suit a highly motivated individual who is used to working in a fast-paced environment and who has experience of working with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (and ideally other privacy laws around the globe like CCPA, PIPEDA, PIPL and POPIA). Responsibilities for this position include providing support for agile teams with digital product compliance, and ongoing day-to-day privacy compliance activities as part of the Global Compliance Team such as data subject rights processes, compliance checks or reporting.

What you will do:

  • Act as a point of contact for all Privacy/Legal queries including those from OneDigital, and ensure regional privacy queries are routed to the appropriate legal team
  • Development of solution proposals/business processes to address solution gaps in relation to the implementation of legal requirements
  • New hires training/on-boarding from legal and compliance perspective
  • Provide support to global compliance initiatives, such as policy updates/implementation and new system/process implementation, as well as supporting with training initiatives. In addition, working to increase awareness of global privacy initiatives
  • Review of DPAs, supporting the business to complete DPIAs and reviewing and approving record of processing questionnaires
  • Facilitation of Quarterly Privacy Governance meetings (KPI\'s) with Data Leads and Champions
  • Manage the Global Data Privacy mailbox, ensure Data Subject Rights requests are logged in a timely manner and respond to Data Subjects with outcomes
  • Reviewing upcoming global privacy laws, remaining abreast of developments in privacy related technology fields (e.g. AI)
  • Assessing and analysing data incidents, supporting the resolution of incidents, and reporting to statutory authorities within mandatory timeframes when required
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in IT, Finance, Legal, or other qualification relevant for privacy compliance
  • Prior proven experience essential
  • Data Protection qualifications such as IAPP certifications or equivalent
  • Effective working relationship with the business to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, agreed, and accepted.
