THE ROLE

The Digital Content Assistant is responsible for supporting the implementation and delivery of the digital content calendar for TK Maxx.com. In this role, you will contribute to delivering the digital trading and brand plans through the development, build and execution of all content across our transactional European sites and apps. Working alongside the Content Officers and Content Manager, this role partners closely with Brand and Marketing and the Online Trading team, to ensure all content aligns with omnichannel and brand priorities, and delivers to both sales and traffic plans.

Digital content planning

Responsible for supporting the implementation of the digital content plan for TJX's online transactional businesses across all countries, banners and devices Responsible for supporting the implementation of the SEO content plan for TJX's online transactional businesses across all countries, banners and devices. Support and optimise the planning, briefing and delivery processes of all site and app content across key business functions Works with the Content Officers and Content Manager to propose changes to and build out the content production process and workflows to ensure we're creating the highest quality content on a regular basis Supports in planning and developing the digital content calendar, keeping a holistic view across Digital Commerce to support a balance of product and brand focuses. This involves a close partnership across the Digital Commerce teams and cross-functionally: Partners with Online Trading team to translate trading calendar into weekly content plan for websites and apps (Homepage, CLPs, Cross Selling boxes etc.) Partner with in-house SEO team and SEO agency to support SEO content calendar, which includes building SEO content and setting standards for SEO best practice across European sites including Insider content and PLP/CLP copy updates. Support in defining and executing the content plan for all brand and static elements of the site (CR, Treasure, Gift Cards, Customer Services, Store Locator, Careers etc.) Partners with Customer Shopping Experience to ensure all site content aligns with omnichannel marketing plans where appropriate and possible (e.g. CR, Brand Campaigns) Partners with key Marketing channels to support traffic driving initiatives, ensuring the content strategy aligns with keyword, SEO and digital media strategies. + Use insight to ensure content supports business KPI's and contributes to customer conversion. Able to deliver analysis and make recommendations to key stakeholders to improve onsite content including A/B testing opportunities
Take a data-driven approach and understand which content performs best and why. Proactively seeks support from UX team and insight and analytics teams to identify improvements to website content

CMS management and roadmap

Responsible for supporting in the build and management of all product, brand and static content on transactional websites and apps, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of all content delivered. This includes the Homepage, Category Landing Pages, Brand, PLP and SEO content pages, and information pages (e.g. Customer Help pages, Product recall). Responsible for timely briefing of all website assets into the Digital Creative team and timely and accurate build of content to the website. Works with the Content team and Optimisation team to develop, build and execute the site content personalisation and A/B testing strategy, helping understand customer engagement and contribute towards content improvement Supports Content team on defining and maintaining a CMS roadmap with prioritised content requirements, partnering with Digital Product Development to stakeholder these priorities and contribute to the Digital Commerce roadmap. Contribute and make recommendations to wider Digital Product Development projects involving CMS (e.g. Accessibility). Identify and escalate website defects and partner closely with Digital IT Operations to ensure the smooth delivery of onsite content to live environment Partner with the Change and Digital Product Development teams to provide training and ongoing support to other CMS users in the business

Other responsibilities


Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners including internal Digital Commerce teams (Online Trading, Online Optimisation and Digital Product Development), Digital Creative, Brand and Marketing COEs, Customer Services, Digital IT Operations and Test & Insight teams Keep abreast of competitor behaviour and market trends. Review competitor websites, social channels and industry news. Drive personal development and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in team and function Build off-price awareness in self and others by seeking out opportunities to learn from peers and partners in other functions

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience of CSS experience of working with content management systems (CMS) in a digital environment advantageous HTML experience (beginner/intermediate) advantageous Experience of working within the Hybris Ecommerce platform advantageous Knowledge of SEO principals and best practice is desirable Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Excellent planning and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise own workload and re-prioritise across tasks as required by the team Excellent influencing, relationship building and communication skills Ability to communicate effectively; work well with a team and have a pro-active, 'can-do' attitude Enthusiastic, with a passion for the work, building relationships and our organisation Strong customer facing approach Ability to use insight and evaluate website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to improve website content Results-orientated German speaking advantageous
