Job Description

Condé Nast Johansens, the internationally recognised and trusted reference Guide for luxury hotels, spas and venues, is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Digital Content Marketing Executive. Working from the Condé Nast London Office, this person will support the team including the Group Publishing Director, Digital Engagement Manager and Editor with the everyday maintenance and development of Condé Nast Johansens digital channels, including the website content, blog, email marketing and social media platforms. Condé Nast Johansens is a small, busy, multitasking department. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone with drive and ambition to learn about digital content marketing and the luxury hotel industry.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining relationships with hoteliers, assisting them with their special offers and digital marketing activities
  • Planning, scheduling and writing short and long-form content for digital channels, including social media, email marketing, website content and inspirational blog content
  • Coordinating social media activity, including writing and posting content, community management, influencer marketing (to develop) and paid social activity
  • Maintaining and updating the website based on SEO best practice and informed by the Digital Engagement Manager, including homepage updates, special offer landing pages, competition pages, country listings and property profile pages
  • Working closely with Condé Nast Central Digital, to lead Condé Nast Johansens email marketing (Adestra and Sailthru platforms), including hotel outreach, layout and copy, list management and subject line testing
  • Supporting the Group Publishing Director, Digital Engagement Manager and wider team with reporting, presentations, administration, general duties and new initiatives as required
  • To attend and present at hotelier meetings, events and conferences as and when required (following government guidelines)
  • Comfortable with UK and overseas travel (following government guidelines)

Essential Skills & Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in Marketing/English/Journalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interviewing people for blog articles
  • Enthusiastic, focused, eager to learn, hardworking and with a real passion for digital marketing
  • Experience with G Suite, Microsoft Office (Excel), Adobe Creative Suite preferred (Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Video editing experience preferred
  • Experience with Wordpress and/or other content management system preferred
  • Must also have an interest in luxury travel
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, self-motivated and with ability to work under own initiative and prioritise multiple tasks
