About you
We are looking for a hands-on, creative, digital content marketer to join our marketing team.
Based in Ripon, working closely with the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for creating engaging digital content that tells our story, connects with our audiences and supports our business.
You're a natural storyteller with a curious, creative mind and knack for using data to drive decisions. From concept to creation, you'll design, write and deliver content that connects. You'll enjoy seeing how your content performs, understanding why and finding ways to make it even better.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys creating impactful content, has a high level of initiative and is passionate about beauty and natural ingredients.
About the role
The role supports the development of the website, social media channels and digital communications. Along with marketing and communications linked to O&3's wider business objectives.
Your duties will include:
Supporting the Head of Marketing in planning and delivering the
digital content strategy.
Bringing the O&3 brand to life through powerful storytelling and beautiful visuals.
Identifying stories, trends and market relevant opportunities to create engaging content.
Planning, creating and publishing content across digital channels, including websites, blogs, email campaigns and social media.
Writing clear, on-brand copy for a variety of formats - articles, product descriptions, newsletters, and campaign materials.
Developing website content and maintaining the websites using Shopify and WordPress.
Creating and scheduling social media posts across all O&3 platforms -Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Monitoring and responding to social media engagement and feedback.
Creating internal and external email campaigns using Mailchimp and Campaign Monitor.
Creating simple visual assets and videos using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Supporting the Head of Marketing with regular performance reports
Testing, learning and optimising - using data to refine messaging, channels and creative assets.
Writing with a conversational yet SEO optimised approach
Contributing creative ideas to continuously enhance O&3's brand presence and digital footprint.
A bit about you:
You have already had some experience or education in content writing, digital marketing or a creative field.
Strong writing and editing skills with a flair for storytelling.
Ability to write for different formats - blogs, web pages, emails and social media posts.
A creative eye for design, layout and visual composition.
Experience using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
Working knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp and social media management tools.
You are creative, curious and keen to learn.
Organised, with strong attention to detail and can work to fair and agreed deadlines.
Desirable Skills
Video editing and/or basic design experience (Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva or similar)
Understanding of SEO and digital content best practices
