Digital Content & Marketing Specialist

Glasgow, SCT, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

About Us

Strachan & Kemp Facilities Services operates as the core facilities management business within the SK Group, delivering integrated hard and soft FM services to a diverse commercial client base across Scotland and the wider UK.

The business has grown significantly in recent years, with an expanding client portfolio, a directly employed workforce, and a strong focus on structured service delivery and planned preventative maintenance (PPM). As the wider SK Group continues to grow across multiple brands, we are now looking to establish our first in-house digital content capability to better support brand visibility, recruitment, and business growth.

About the Role

We are seeking a Digital Content & Marketing Specialist to support the SK Group's growing portfolio of brands through high-quality digital content, graphic design, and social media output.

This role is primarily focused on the creation and delivery of visual and video-led content across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing graphic assets, short-form video content, and supporting materials for marketing campaigns, recruitment, business updates, and brand promotion.

You will manage and publish content across multiple brand channels, monitor performance, and actively review which content formats perform best. The role requires a hands-on, commercially aware approach, with a clear focus on engagement, visibility, and return on investment rather than purely aesthetic output.

You will work closely with directors and operational teams to capture authentic, real-world content from across the business and translate this into engaging digital material. This is a varied, creative role within a growing organisation, offering long-term opportunity to shape and develop the Group's digital presence.

This is a permanent, in-house position and not an agency or freelance role.

About You

You will be a creative, organised, and self-motivated individual with proven experience in digital content creation, social media management, and graphic design for online platforms.

You will be confident producing visual assets independently, comfortable filming and editing short-form video content, and capable of managing multiple brand channels simultaneously. You will have a strong eye for design and consistency, alongside the ability to assess performance data and adjust content accordingly.

You will bring a professional, commercially minded approach, understanding that content must support business growth, recruitment, and brand credibility. Experience working within a fast-paced or multi-brand environment is highly beneficial.

Requirements Essential

Proven experience in digital content creation or social media marketing Strong graphic design capability (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) Experience creating and editing short-form video content Strong understanding of major social media platforms and trends Ability to monitor engagement and performance metrics and adapt content Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple brands Good communication skills and confidence working with internal teams Basic IT skills Right to work in the UK
