We're seeking a Data Science & Analytics Manager to build actionable, data-driven insights that elevate analysis to drive client success. You'll work closely with client teams to scope the right analytical approach for business challenges, manage a team of data scientists and analysts, and deliver high-quality analytics that translate numbers into clear, actionable insights for improved business outcomes.
As part of Indicia Worldwide, an insight and technology-led communications agency, you'll help clients realize ROI by combining creative, data and technology talent with production expertise to improve marketing performance and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
Client Collaboration: Work with internal client teams and their clients to scope analytical approaches, often detailing multiple approaches with timelines for client discussion
Team Management: Coach, manage and mentor junior team members while ensuring quality and accuracy of analytics deliverables
Strategic Insights: Provide strategic recommendations based on data insights to improve business processes and outcomes
Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver clear, compelling presentations that communicate insights and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
Project Management: Manage the agile analytics process, including sprints, planning and unblocking issues, while tracking risks and action items throughout project lifecycle
Strategic Development: Collaborate with Strategy team to develop actionable strategies based on data analysis and market research insights
Business Development: Proactively identify Data Science approaches/projects that can answer business questions, issues or challenges
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Numerical/Data Science degree or equivalent
Expert programming skills in R, SQL, Python, Java
Expert knowledge of analytical platforms (Azure/Databricks, AWS, Google Analytics, H2O.ai, DataRobot)
Experience with Github and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Digital industry experience with client management/consulting background
Strong communication skills - able to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
Self-motivated, analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
Proactive approach with strong relationship-building skills
