The Digital Delivery Manager will take the lead in shaping the future of our organisation's digital landscape. The post holder will be at the heart of delivering impactful digital initiatives that touch every part of our organisation.
This role will influence how digital products are delivered across a diverse and dynamic portfolio. No two projects are the same - offering the chance to broaden experience, work with a wide range of stakeholders, and help embed a culture of continuous improvement.

What you will do
Work with the Lead Digital Product and Delivery Manager to help the organisation to prioritise the digital portfolio through establishing strong relationships and leveraging appropriate governance structures.
Work within the organisational governance structure and with key senior stakeholders to ensure that appropriate oversight is achieved across the digital portfolio, helping teams to measure, evaluate and visualise outcomes.
Work closely with internal teams and any third-party suppliers to ensure outcomes are realised within time, cost and quality tolerances.
Build and maintain appropriately resourced and motivated cross-functional digital delivery teams, making sure there is an iterative plan to work towards.
Identify risks and issues across these work packages, managing where possible and escalating when necessary. Proactively manage dependencies, overcome obstacles and get the best value against constraints.
Communicate progress against plans to relevant stakeholders across the organisation and the multi-disciplinary digital team.
Coach Social Work England and third-party team members and other stakeholders across the organisation, facilitate continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques.
Take responsibility for quality of digital delivery, driving continuous improvement across the multi-functional digital team.
Provide line management and support to the Scrum Master to ensure they are proficient in their role, maximising effectiveness and driving improvements.
Your skills, knowledge and experience
Experience of digital implementation in an agile environment across multiple phases.
Experience working with a blended team of internal and third-party resources
The ability to identify and compare the best processes and delivery methods to use and the ability to identify when something isn't working.
Ability to adapt, reflect & show resilience
Able to measure and evaluate outcomes, helping a cross-section of stakeholders to manage and visualise outcomes.
Able to manage stakeholders' expectations with proactive and reactive communication, facilitating difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders.
Able to manage the delivery flow of a team, ensuring a consistent pace and tempo.
Able to actively address internal and external risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside the team.
Is able to prioritise the most important or highest value tasks, using data to inform planning.
Able to manage complex internal and external dependencies, providing delivery confidence. Able to remove blockers or impediments that affect the plan and implement contingencies where possible.
Able to help create the right environment for an agile team to work in. Recognises and deals with issues.
