CareCo's Digital Designer is responsible for producing visually engaging, on-brand digital assets and experiences that strengthen CareCo's online presence. Working closely with the wider marketing, UX, and development teams, our Digital Designer role brings creative concepts to life across web, email, social, and digital advertising channels, ensuring consistency and a high standard at every customer touchpoint.

This is a full-time permanent position, covering 37.5 hours over a Monday to Friday week, based out of CareCo's Braintree site.

What are my responsibilities?



Design and produce high-quality digital assets for web, email, paid media, and social channels in line with brand guidelines. Collaborate with UX and development teams to translate design concepts into responsive, user-friendly layouts. Support the creation and maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency across all platforms. Contribute to the continuous improvement of CareCo's website and digital campaigns through creative ideas and design innovation. Create engaging motion graphics, animations, and interactive elements where appropriate. Work with the content and digital marketing teams to develop visually impactful creative for promotions, campaigns, and product launches. Optimise designs for performance across devices and platforms, ensuring accessibility and usability. Use tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and After Effects to produce design work and prototypes. Stay up to date with emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices in digital design and eCommerce. Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers when required to deliver larger design projects or campaigns. Support testing and feedback loops to refine and improve creative execution based on user and stakeholder insights.

What qualifications & skills are required of me?



Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Digital Media, UX/UI Design, or a related discipline. Proven experience delivering high-quality digital design across web, mobile, and social channels, ideally within a commercial or agency environment. Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and a solid understanding of responsive design principles. Creative thinker with excellent attention to detail, able to balance design flair with user-centered thinking and brand consistency. Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working cross-functionally within marketing, content, and development teams.
