Digital Designer - eCommerce & Custom Software

At Superb, we design and build eCommerce and custom software experiences that are intuitive, engaging and effective. As a Digital Designer, you'll bring creativity and craft to every stage of a project - from research and concept through to final delivery. Your work will help brands connect with their customers, make complex technology feel simple, and deliver measurable business results.

We're an award-winning eCommerce agency working with Adobe Commerce (Magento), Shopify, Shopify Plus. Big Commerce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Our clients include ambitious B2C, B2B and D2C brands across Fashion, Lifestyle, Home and Living, Food and Beverage and luxury sectors. From high-traffic global stores to bespoke digital products, you'll be creating design solutions seen and used by thousands of customers every day.

This role is based in our Devon office, in Paignton, just minutes from the coast, offering an incredible work/life balance. You'll collaborate with some of the best eCommerce minds in the industry, working with clients across the UK and Europe.

The Role



You'll collaborate with clients, developers and marketers to design engaging, user-focused solutions for websites and applications. From initial ideas to fully polished experiences, you'll take ownership of creative output, ensuring it is visually inspiring, strategically aligned, and technically robust.

Responsibilities



Conceive and deliver creative digital design solutions for eCommerce sites and mobile apps Create mood boards, wireframes, prototypes, style guides and UI kits Apply systematic and responsive design principles across all devices Present ideas confidently to clients and stakeholders Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented as intended Stay on top of design and technology trends, bringing fresh ideas into the team Support pitches and client discovery workshops with inspiring creative concepts

What You'll Bring



Strong portfolio of eCommerce or digital product design (fashion, lifestyle or luxury experience is a plus) Proven ability with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD etc.) UX and UI design skills, including user flows, prototyping and usability best practice Understanding of responsive web design, accessibility standards and web best practices Familiarity with UX research and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.) Strong communication skills and ability to present work clearly and persuasively Passion for typography, layout, photography and art direction Agency experience is desirable but not essential

Pay: 34,000.00-45,000.00 per year
