The Role
The Digital Engineering Associate role is to assist Wood with a continuous digital drive to embrace innovative software and hardware solutions.

Responsibilities:

Typical responsibilities

• Creating / updating documentation as required in line with client engineering requirements
• Utilisation of software packages enabling the continued update and creation of 2D documentation, 3D designs, 3D models, digital twins, intelligent documentation etc
• Effective utilisation of digital engineering software and hardware tools
• Effective use of Information Management Systems and Content Service Platforms
• Participate in the undertaking of site surveys to include digital capture (laser scanning) and utilising innovative / emerging technology across our diverse global client locations
• Identify relevant technical documentation with guidance from Technical Specialists.
• Utilising innovative software and hardware solutions to solve modern age problems / challenges
• Delivering assigned scopes of work in line with contract Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and business objectives
• Efficiently working with / managing client data in a secure manner
• Actively participating in competency and training modules / tasks
• Interacting with multi-discipline engineering teams and departments
• Efficiently and accurately executing assigned work tasks to schedule / budget limitations
• Developing in accordance with agreed training / development plan.

Expected:

• Grade 4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics

Desirable:

• A level (or equivalent) Grade B (or above)
• Suitable CAD knowledge or appropriate qualification.
