Digital Improvement Lead

Job Description

A new post has been created in order to invest in the technical and design capabilities within the Private Care team. The post is within the Private Care Systems team and is responsible for delivering improvements and efficiencies in how the Private Care teams work in Connect. It represents an opportunity for utilising technical skills to improve the workflows of teams and develop new capabilities in order to work more effectively.



This post will work with operational teams, commercial administration, digital systems and Connect teams to provide effective and efficient systems and processes ensuring services are responsive, innovative and provided the highest possible standard.



The post holder will have an in depth understanding of Epic private patient pathways and will support divisional teams to improve delivery of performance and financial targets by suggesting ways to improve current workflows and working practices.



The postholder will problem solve as appropriate and develop and implement lasting solutions in conjunction with colleagues across multiple stakeholder groups and will develop effective relationships with supporting digital and information teams to focus on identifying and improving services delivered to private patients, referrers and staff.

To support the development of, and promote, the Trust's mission, values aims and objectives. To lead with the ongoing digital optimisation of the Epic system within the Private Care directorate. In conjunction with the Systems Manager and Private Care Senior Leadership Team, produce accurate, high-quality reports suggesting ways to improve working practices and process improvements. * To ensure the establishment and maintenance of good relationships and communication throughout the Division, with the wider Trust, and externally with patients, Embassies & agencies, promoting a culture where staff are actively involved in decisions on how services are provided and targets delivered.
