Digital Intelligence Lead

This senior position is needed to create and lead the digital strategy alongside the OneSGT roadmap.

As the Digital Intelligence Lead, you will be responsible for helping our business to deliver strategic data integration, migration and business intelligence solutions.

You will also be responsible for delivering application services to our internal customers, that are defined by our business processes. You will need to interface and network across all business functions within the OneSGT organisation and will be expected to mentor and teach the existing Digital intelligence (DI) team who operate out of the Lincoln site. In addition, you will be expected to provide real time management direction for the companies existing third parties working on data modelling projects via university links.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\xc2\xb7 Work collaboratively with the Head of Transformation and the Digitalisation Manager in formulating a strategy for OneSGTs Digital and Data infrastructure.

\xc2\xb7 Foster positive relationships with our functions and act as their primary point of contact for Data Infrastructure for OneSGT

\xc2\xb7 Develop of strategic roadmaps and execution plans

\xc2\xb7 Deliver digital based solutions to improve the operation, efficiency, and accuracy of functions across the OneSGT business.

\xc2\xb7 Mentor and support the development of Digital Intelligence colleagues in the Transformation team.

\xc2\xb7 Work with the local DI team, the central Enterprise Data & Advanced Analytics (ED&AA) team, and product development teams to define the proposed solutions, deployment architecture and configurations.

\xc2\xb7 Provide direction for and assist in the development of a digital infrastructure that will facilitate a multitude of different project use cases.

\xc2\xb7 Guide / Lead / Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous review of tableau dashboards

\xc2\xb7 Guide / Lead / Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous review of SharePoint Sites, Power Apps, and Power Automate workflows.

\xc2\xb7 Facilitate the implementation of a Data Governance process.

\xc2\xb7 Manage the needs and priorities of multiple stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Work alongside stakeholders to translate their business requirements into workable solutions.

\xc2\xb7 Gather customer requirements, carry out business analysis and provide solutions and advice.

\xc2\xb7 Work with Customer to discover value opportunities and develop business cases

\xc2\xb7 Pursue new software opportunities and execute end to end

\xc2\xb7 Identify and work with related projects to address any interdependencies, ensuring a coordinated portfolio of projects.

\xc2\xb7 Create statements of work/ project charters and manage projects in OnePM

\xc2\xb7 Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.

\xc2\xb7 Drive and monitor the progress of the implementation to ensure success of the project, overseeing gate reviews and validation.

\xc2\xb7 Address customer issues with speed and efficiency.

\xc2\xb7 Support effective governance and decision making of data.

\xc2\xb7 Support continuous improvement of project management services through effective definition and implementation of lessons learned.

\xc2\xb7 Identify, share and promote best practices and lessons learned to create a culture of learning and good practice that supports continuous improvement to optimise project delivery.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties that the post-holder will be expected to perform; different tasks as necessitated by the role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation will be required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Desirable

Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Suitable BSc or MSc (equiv.) degree or suitable alternative experience

Professional Accreditation i.e. Prince2, APM, PIM, SCM etc

A recognised qualification in Project Management and/or Agile Project Management

Knowledge & Experience

- Significant experience with IT programme and project working environments

- Knowledge and experience of SQL and Python for data science

- Working knowledge of industry best practices for data governance and infrastructure

- Experience managing project budgets, scope and milestones

- Experience leading the planning and task management of projects

- Demonstrable effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills

- Proven experience leading project teams to deliver positive outcomes to time, budget and quality

- Awareness of common applications i.e. SAP, Siemens Team Center

- Experience of working with databases (e.g. the snowflake data platform)

- Knowledge or understanding of SharePoint & Power Platform

- Experience of Project implementation OnePM

- Experience or knowledge of a variety of digital tools to deliver different use cases.

- Experience managing Data Migration and Integration projects

- Experience of acting as a senior team member, coaching and mentoring less experienced project team members
