We are recruiting for a technically strong and commercially minded Digital Manager / Shopify Developer to join our digital team. The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple Shopify sites, enhancing functionality, performance, and user experience. Alongside web development, you will bring proven expertise in digital marketing execution, working with six-figure PPC campaigns and delivering SEO content strategies that drive traffic, sales, and long-term growth.
This is a developer-first role with marketing add-ons: perfect for someone who enjoys building and optimising e-commerce websites, while also having the commercial mindset to ensure those sites deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and optimise multiple Shopify websites, including custom theme development, Liquid coding, and third-party integrations
Implement new site features, landing pages, and apps to enhance customer journey and maximise conversion rates
Monitor and improve site speed, security, and overall technical performance
Manage and optimise PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) with six-figure monthly budgets, focusing on ROI and customer acquisition
Plan and execute SEO strategies including on-page optimisation, content improvements, and technical SEO fixes
Collaborate with internal teams to align website improvements with product launches, promotional activity, and brand objectives
Analyse data and performance metrics (CRO, CPA, ROAS, organic visibility) to recommend and implement continual improvements
Liaise with external partners or freelancers for specialist tasks as required
Key Skills:
3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, app integrations)
Strong understanding of e-commerce architecture, UX/UI principles, and conversion optimisation
Proven track record managing PPC budgets at six-figure monthly scale
Knowledge of SEO fundamentals: technical, content, and link-building strategies
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics/GA4, Search Console, and Tag Manager
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance technical detail and commercial outcomes
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Experience with CRO, A/B testing, or custom web apps (desirable)
