Overview


At Brandsmiths, our digital marketing function plays a critical role in shaping the future of the firm, not just by building awareness, but by driving performance across all touchpoints in the client journey. The Digital Marketing and CRM Executive will be instrumental in using data, marketing technology and automation to support business growth.

This role is ideal for someone technically-minded who thrives on turning insight into action, enjoys working across multiple projects and is excited by the opportunity to develop a high-performing digital engine in the UK's number one IP firm.

This role can also be based in our London Office.

Key Responsibilities -



CRM and Marketing automation:



Day-to-day management of the firm's CRM system (HubSpot) Creating segmented lists and workflows to support marketing and BD campaigns Managing and optimising automated email journeys Supporting data hygiene, enrichment and tagging to ensure CRM is fit for purpose Collaborating with BD and fee earners to track and report on engagement

Digital advertising



Planning and activating paid advertising campaigns Monitoring spend and performance against KPIs Continuously testing and optimising creative, targeting, and messaging

Search optimisation



Driving the activation of the SEO strategy Conducting keyword research and on-page SEO improvements Ensuring technical SEO best practices are implemented across the site Monitoring rankings, site health and traffic performance

Marketing analytics



Ownership of digital performance reporting across all key channels Producing monthly reports and ad-hoc insights to inform decisions Making recommendations for improvement based on trends and data

Channel optimisation



Collaborating with the team to ensure website journeys are optimised for conversion Supporting UX and site structure improvements Conducting audits and benchmarking against competitor activity Proactively identifying and testing new tools or techniques to drive performance

Other responsibilities



Supporting the wider Marketing and BD team in executing firm-wide campaigns Managing relationships with relevant digital agencies and tech providers Monitoring developments in Marketing tech and best practices to keep the firm one step ahead

Experience

-
The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience in digital marketing. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Familiarity with SEO best practices and techniques. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Excellent copywriting abilities with a flair for creating engaging content. Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
Hours & Holiday -

Hybrid Working 3 days in the office (Manchester Office - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday; London Office - Flexible) and 2 days working from home. 25 Days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
