Stoke-on-Trent City Council is offering an incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our Venues and Events team.

About the Role:

As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you'll play a key role in promoting events and venues across the city through engaging digital content.

Working alongside experienced events and marketing professionals, you'll gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, website updates, email marketing, and digital design.

What You'll Be Doing:

Assisting in the promotion of citywide events through digital marketing.

Creating engaging content for social media, websites, and email newsletters. Supporting the maintenance and updates of online platforms, ensuring accurate and up-to-date content. Developing graphic and video content to enhance digital campaigns. Monitoring social media and website performance, compiling reports to assess engagement. Assisting with administrative tasks such as database management and event coordination.
What We're Looking For:

A keen interest in digital marketing, social media, and content creation. Good writing and communication skills. Basic knowledge of design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or InDesign (desirable). Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths (or equivalent).
