About the Role



We are hiring a commercially minded Digital Marketing Copywriter with strong digital writing skills and a strong interest in healthcare to produce both persuasive landing page copy and educational blog content for our healthcare postgraduate programmes. The role sits within the marketing team and plays a key part in driving lead generation, improving SEO, and supporting student conversion.

The successful candidate will be an adaptable writer who can switch between sales-focused and informative writing, ideally with an interest in healthcare or adult education. A clinical qualification is not required, but you must have strong commercial awareness, be confident in interpreting source material and turning complex ideas into engaging, accurate content.

The Digital Marketing Copywriter is responsible for producing high-quality, audience-focused written content across a range of digital platforms. The role involves creating SEO-optimised blog posts and landing pages for the website, as well as writing clear, engaging copy for social media and email campaigns. This position requires a strong understanding of writing for audiences in the healthcare and education sectors, with the ability to translate complex or technical subject matter into accessible, relevant content. The copywriter will ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines, maintains a consistent tone of voice, and supports audience engagement and conversion goals. A precise command of language, tone, and structure is essential, along with the ability to adapt content for different formats and platforms.

Key Responsibilities



Copywriting



Write clear, accurate, and engaging content for a range of digital channels, including SEO-optimised blog posts and website landing pages, email marketing campaigns, and social media posts. Provide regular updates and audits to existing content to ensure accuracy and consistency is maintained. Translate complex or technical subject matter, particularly in healthcare and educational contexts, into accessible, audience-appropriate content. Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to improve content visibility and performance. Collaborate with subject matter experts, designers, and marketers to develop written content that supports marketing and business objectives. Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, grammar, and accuracy. Maintain consistency in messaging across all digital touchpoints. Monitor content performance and contribute to optimisation efforts based on audience engagement and feedback. Assist in the development of content templates or writing guides to support internal consistency Assist in the development of marketing materials, guides and student facing packs. Assist in the development and creation of scripts and prompts for video content, webinars, and other multimedia materials, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and audience needs. Upload and format copy in CMS platforms (Orchard) and publishing pages.

General Marketing Support



Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to support overall business objectives. Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver cohesive campaigns, providing technical support where necessary (e.g., basic HTML for email or web content). Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative marketing solutions. Support SEO initiatives to enhance website visibility and organic traffic. Apply Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) techniques to improve user engagement and conversion rates. Design and implement A/B testing frameworks to optimize campaign performance. Mentor and train junior team members to foster their professional growth.

Essential Skills, Competencies and Experience



Exceptional writing and editing skills. Able to produce clear, engaging, and accurate copy across a range of digital formats Strong understanding of SEO. Skilled in writing for search with effective use of keywords, metadata, and content structure Audience awareness. Ability to adapt tone, language, and content style for different audiences, particularly within healthcare and educational sectors Attention to detail. High level of accuracy in grammar, spelling, and factual content Content management proficiency. Experience using CMS platforms to upload, format, and manage digital content Time management and organisation. Able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and manage multiple content projects simultaneously Collaborative mindset. Comfortable working closely with subject matter experts, designers, and marketing colleagues Digital literacy. Familiarity with content planning tools, email marketing platforms, and social media scheduling tools Analytical thinking. Ability to interpret content performance data and adjust writing approach to improve engagement Ability to understand and clearly communicate complex information in a user-friendly way Experience in digital marketing, with a focus on written content. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
