We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Design Executive to join our dynamic and expanding marketing team. This role will focus on the design and development of digital assets, improving the user interface (UI) of our digital platforms, supporting marketing campaigns, and managing our Product Information Management (PIM) system. You will work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure product and supplier pages are effectively merchandised, with accurate descriptions, images, features, and benefits, driving brand engagement and supporting business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Asset Creation:
Design and produce a range of digital assets including banners, social media posts, email templates, landing pages, and digital advertisements to support marketing campaigns.
User Interface Improvement:
Collaborate with web development teams to enhance the UI and overall user experience (UX) of the company website, e-commerce platforms, and digital applications to ensure a seamless and engaging journey for users.
Marketing Campaign Support:
Assist in the creation of digital content for marketing campaigns, ensuring that all designs are aligned with brand guidelines and optimized for digital performance.
Product Information Management (PIM):
Manage and maintain product data within the PIM system, ensuring all product pages are accurately merchandised with up-to-date descriptions, images, specifications, features, and benefits.
Product Page Optimization:
Work closely with product managers and the e-commerce team to ensure product pages are visually appealing, informative, and optimized for customer conversion. Ensure all digital assets on product pages (images, copy, videos) are aligned and support sales strategies.
Brand Consistency:
Ensure that all digital assets are consistent with Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene Supplies' branding and messaging, maintaining a cohesive look and feel across all marketing channels.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the marketing, sales, product, and IT teams to gather requirements, understand objectives, and deliver high-quality design solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up to date with the latest digital design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company's digital presence is modern, innovative, and competitive.
Performance Tracking:
Collaborate with the marketing analytics team to measure the performance of digital assets, optimize designs for better engagement, and provide insights for future campaigns.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in digital design, preferably within a marketing or e-commerce environment.
Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
Experience with UI/UX design principles and improving user experiences on digital platforms.
Knowledge of responsive design techniques to ensure assets are optimized for mobile, desktop, and tablet viewing.
Experience managing a Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring accurate product data and effective page merchandising.
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail in maintaining accurate product information.
Understanding of web analytics tools and how design choices impact performance.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus, but not essential.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A passion for digital marketing, design, and creativity.
Education & Experience:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Web Design, or a related field.
Ideally candidate to have had previous experience in a digital design role, ideally within marketing, e-commerce, or product management.
