We are recruiting for a Digital Marketing Executive for our Harrogate based client!
Our client is an independent not-for-profit company. Their objectives are the provision of consumer-centric services enabling people to take control.
As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in executing and optimising digital marketing strategies across multiple channels. You'll manage website content via CMS, oversee digital advertising campaigns, ensure brand consistency, and deliver insights that drive performance and engagement across internal and external communications.
Key Responsibilities
Website & CMS Management
  • Maintain and update website content using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Contentful).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely publication of news, blogs, and resources.
  • Optimize user experience and SEO.
Digital Advertising
  • Plan, execute, and monitor paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and other platforms in liaison with our digital advertising agency.
  • Oversee the A/B testing of creative assets and messaging to improve CTR, awareness and conversion rates.
  • Manage budgets and report on ROI.
Brand & Communications
  • Ensure all digital content adheres to the Group's brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Support the creation of presentations and visual assets for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to maintain brand consistency.
Analytics & Insights
  • Track and analyse performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, and social media insights.
  • Generate monthly reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Present findings to stakeholders to inform strategy and decision-making.
Internal & External Communications
  • Support digital campaigns that enhance stakeholder engagement and public awareness.
  • Oversee the crafting of newsletters, press releases, monthly snapshots of registration activity for internal stakeholders and social media content.
  • Coordinate with the PR team to align messaging.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing or a related role.
  • Proficiency in CMS platforms and digital advertising tools.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and social media marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in reporting and insights.
  • Working with external agencies.
Desirable:
  • Experience in the charity, tech, or regulatory sectors.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g. Canva).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and UX best practices.
