About Social with Ryan

Social with Ryan was started in 2023 after being made redundant from an in-house social media role. Two years later, the business is thriving with a brilliant client roster, consistent growth, and a people-first approach to social media that genuinely works.

Now, for the first time, we're hiring.

This is a chance to help shape the future of a growing business, influence how we work, and build something meaningful from the ground up - right down to choosing our future office.

It's a hands-on role with real variety - one day we'll be planning and creating LinkedIn content, the next we're on-site shooting with a client, the next we're improving our own website or email marketing function.

This is the job where you can genuinely make a big impact, and you'll feel a real part of the business, not just an employee.

At least one year of experience in digital marketing or social media (ideally B2B) Strong organisational skills and a high attention to detail while working across multiple projects at any given time Strong copywriting skills A solid understanding of social platforms & analytics Confident use of Canva Basic video and photo editing skills Excellent organisation & project management skills A genuine interest in social media, businesses, people and storytelling A full clean driving license An up-to-date DBS certificate or the willingness to obtain one (paid for by the business) Any experience with paid social is advantageous

Why this role is special

You won't be a small cog in a big agency. You won't be buried under layers of process or hierarchy. And you won't be told you can't go to the doctors at 11am.

The culture we adopt is fair, friendly and flexible. Our approach to business is simple: It's doing exactly what we say we'll do, to the standard we agree to, on time and on budget. And, to achieve that, you'll be trusted to manage your time, work autonomously while applying yourself fully, asking questions, and bringing ideas.

You'll work directly with the business owners, and we'll guide you every step of the way to help you fulfil your potential.

You'll also have a genuine say in how the business grows, how we progress, how we do things, what we improve, what we build, and how we show up.

Importantly, you'll grow with the business - both in skills and knowledge, and financially. There are no pay grades, so no limitations on your success, and this is a rare opportunity to develop a business from the inside.

With the right person, we firmly believe we can create something hugely successful, building on what we've achieved so far.
