Salary: 33,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-time
About Us
We're not just another digital marketing agency (even though everyone says that). We're Cornwall's forward-thinking creative collective, helping local businesses get more customers from the bleddy internet! We blend Cornish charm with cutting-edge digital strategy, and we're all about delivering results without the confusing jargon.
Our mission? To future-proof businesses through brilliant marketing that actually works. We're serious about results but not about taking ourselves too seriously.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive who gets it. Someone who can craft campaigns that don't just look good but drive real results for our clients. You'll be working directly with Cornish businesses (and beyond), developing strategies that genuinely help them grow, and making a proper job of their digital presence.
This isn't a sit-at-your-desk-and-tick-boxes kind of role. You'll be planning campaigns, analysing data, creating content, and working closely with our team to deliver measurable results for clients who trust us to grow their businesses.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategy & Campaign Management
Plan and execute digital marketing strategies that actually drive leads and revenue (not just vanity metrics)
Manage SEO campaigns to get our clients ranking on page one of Google
Run highly targeted PPC and Meta Ads campaigns that convert
Work with our team to create tailored strategies for each client - no cookie-cutter approaches here
Email Marketing
Create email campaigns that people actually want to open and drive real conversions
Build and manage email marketing funnels that nurture leads and boost sales
Write compelling subject lines and email copy that speaks to real people without all the corporate waffle
Data & Analytics
Track, analyse, and report on what's working (and what's not) using data-driven insights
Use Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other tools to optimize campaigns continuously
Provide clear, jargon-free reports that clients can actually understand
Turn data into actionable recommendations that drive results
SEO & Website Optimisation
Implement SEO strategies that bring in organic traffic and customers
Work on website content and optimisation to improve search rankings
Stay ahead of the curve on SEO best practices and algorithm updates
Help clients dominate their local search results
Client Collaboration
Work directly with Cornish businesses to understand their goals and challenges
Communicate campaign progress and results clearly and transparently
Build strong relationships with clients across Cornwall and beyond
Occasionally visit client sites to capture authentic content and understand their businesses
What You'll Need
The Must-Haves
At least 3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience with proven results
Strong track record of successful SEO and PPC campaigns that actually drove business growth
Expert knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta advertising platforms
Experience creating content that converts - you know the difference between pretty graphics and design that drive sales
Excellent copywriting skills (real writing for real people)
Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
Technical Skills
Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and email marketing platforms
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and content management systems (WordPress is a bonus)
Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to create beautiful visuals
Comfortable with marketing automation and CRM systems
Who You Are
Results-driven with a no-nonsense approach to getting things done
Creative problem-solver who can think outside the box
Excellent at managing multiple projects and clients without breaking a sweat
Strong communicator who can explain complex stuff in simple terms
Self-motivated and able to work independently (but also love collaborating with the team)
Passionate about helping businesses succeed and genuinely interested in seeing results
A little bit weird (in a good way)
Ideally, you understand Cornwall and what makes our market unique
Bonus Points For
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Professional certifications (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, etc.)
Experience working with local businesses or understanding the Cornish market
Knowledge of Cornwall's business landscape and what makes our community tick
A genuine passion for the occasional heated debate about the best pasty in Cornwall
What We Offer
Competitive salary of 33,000 per annum
Hybrid working (office near Falmouth + remote flexibility, 2 days WFH a week)
The chance to make a real difference for Cornwall's businesses
Work with a team that's serious about results but doesn't take themselves too seriously
Professional development opportunities - we invest in our people
A collaborative environment where your ideas actually matter
The satisfaction of seeing your work drive real business growth
The Culture
We're a team that believes work should be meaningful, challenging, and yes, even fun. Collaborative energy, creative problem-solving, and bringing proper substance to style is what we're all about. If you're tired of cookie-cutter marketing and ready to create campaigns that actually make a difference, let's talk.
