About the Role



We're looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive who gets it. Someone who can craft campaigns that don't just look good but drive real results for our clients. You'll be working directly with Cornish businesses (and beyond), developing strategies that genuinely help them grow, and making a proper job of their digital presence.

This isn't a sit-at-your-desk-and-tick-boxes kind of role. You'll be planning campaigns, analysing data, creating content, and working closely with our team to deliver measurable results for clients who trust us to grow their businesses.

What You'll Be Doing



Strategy & Campaign Management

Plan and execute digital marketing strategies that actually drive leads and revenue (not just vanity metrics) Manage SEO campaigns to get our clients ranking on page one of Google Run highly targeted PPC and Meta Ads campaigns that convert Work with our team to create tailored strategies for each client - no cookie-cutter approaches here
Email Marketing

Create email campaigns that people actually want to open and drive real conversions Build and manage email marketing funnels that nurture leads and boost sales Write compelling subject lines and email copy that speaks to real people without all the corporate waffle
Data & Analytics

Track, analyse, and report on what's working (and what's not) using data-driven insights Use Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other tools to optimize campaigns continuously Provide clear, jargon-free reports that clients can actually understand Turn data into actionable recommendations that drive results
SEO & Website Optimisation

Implement SEO strategies that bring in organic traffic and customers Work on website content and optimisation to improve search rankings Stay ahead of the curve on SEO best practices and algorithm updates Help clients dominate their local search results
Client Collaboration

Work directly with Cornish businesses to understand their goals and challenges Communicate campaign progress and results clearly and transparently Build strong relationships with clients across Cornwall and beyond Occasionally visit client sites to capture authentic content and understand their businesses

What You'll Need



The Must-Haves

At least 3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience with proven results Strong track record of successful SEO and PPC campaigns that actually drove business growth Expert knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta advertising platforms Experience creating content that converts - you know the difference between pretty graphics and design that drive sales Excellent copywriting skills (real writing for real people) Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
Technical Skills

Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and email marketing platforms Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and content management systems (WordPress is a bonus) Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to create beautiful visuals Comfortable with marketing automation and CRM systems

Results-driven with a no-nonsense approach to getting things done Creative problem-solver who can think outside the box Excellent at managing multiple projects and clients without breaking a sweat Strong communicator who can explain complex stuff in simple terms Self-motivated and able to work independently (but also love collaborating with the team) Passionate about helping businesses succeed and genuinely interested in seeing results A little bit weird (in a good way) Ideally, you understand Cornwall and what makes our market unique

Bonus Points For



Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field Professional certifications (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, etc.) Experience working with local businesses or understanding the Cornish market Knowledge of Cornwall's business landscape and what makes our community tick A genuine passion for the occasional heated debate about the best pasty in Cornwall
