In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering our mission by driving high-quality leads to the business more cost-effectively. Through helping make smart media choices and efficient campaign execution, you'll help us reach the right audiences at the right time, maximising impact and return on investment.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role is the day-to-day owner of the Harwoods Group website. You'll be responsible for ensuring the site performs at its best, driving organic traffic through effective SEO strategies and converting all visitors into enquiries and leads as efficiently as possible. You'll ensure the website reflects and supports the Harwoods brand, tone of voice, and promotional activity across all departments. Working closely with internal stakeholders and the wider Marketing Team, you'll plan and deliver engaging, brand-aligned campaigns throughout the year via our online channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Website Ownership: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the Harwoods Group website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand tone and promotional activity. Optimise for SEO and user experience to drive organic traffic and maximise lead conversion. Digital Content & Campaigns: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Marketing Team to plan and deliver engaging, brand-aligned digital campaigns across the website, email, and social media channels. CRM & Service Retention Support: Ensure digital assets such as landing pages and campaign content support CRM activity and service retention goals. SEO & Analytics: Monitor and improve organic search performance in partnership with our SEO agency. Use tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to analyse traffic, conversion, and campaign effectiveness. Social Media & Digital Channels: Support the maintenance and performance of Harwoods' social media channels, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement. Content Creation & Management: Maintain and update website content using the CMS, including offers, blogs, product information, and service pages. Ensure all copy meets house style and brand standards. Digital Innovation: Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and suggest new ways to enhance content delivery and user engagement. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and involvement in Digital Marketing Strategies / Social Media networks, manufacturers, and suppliers. To undertake any additional tasks, responsibilities or assignments as requested.

Skills & Requirements



Solid understanding of website management and performance, ideally with experience using a CMS (e.g. Contentful). Sound foundational knowledge of SEO principles and how to drive organic traffic. Strong creative skills, including copywriting and editing to brand tone and style. Confident briefing of internal teams and external agencies to deliver digital projects effectively. Numerate and analytical--able to interpret data, communicate it well to others and make informed decisions to improve performance. Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across departments. Practical, hands-on approach with good common sense and problem-solving ability. Awareness of CRM and email marketing integration, including landing page creation and optimisation. Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in supporting brand engagement and campaigns. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, trends, and technologies.

Experience



Desirable



2-3 years' experience in a digital marketing role with direct responsibility for website operations and performance. Practical experience using Contentful CMS to manage and update website content. Familiarity with SEMrush and working alongside SEO agencies to support organic growth strategies. Experience interpreting performance data using Google Analytics and other tools, applying insights to improve user experience and conversion. Exposure to campaign planning and execution across digital channels, including email, landing pages, and social media. Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and briefing internal stakeholders or external partners. Experience in the automotive industry is beneficial but not essential.
