Newark-on-Trent, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Join a growing ecommerce brand with a hands-on role driving growth and creativity.

Hybrid (Home Working on Fridays), Newark-On-Trent
Full-time, Permanent

Founded in 2009, we're a well-established online retailer of window blinds, known for our quality products and personal approach. We're a small, friendly team with big ambitions -- and we're looking for a Digital Marketing Lead to take ownership of our online marketing strategy and help us reach the next level.

You'll work closely with the General Manager (previously Marketing Manager) to increase conversions, improve our website and customer experience, and grow our social and influencer presence. You'll also collaborate with our parent company's marketing department, who can provide additional creative support across design, social, and video - while you lead and project manage key marketing initiatives.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing a cohesive digital marketing plan to grow traffic, engagement, and sales. Managing and executing email and SMS campaigns (via Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar). Leading website updates and improvements in collaboration with our developers -- from landing pages to conversion optimisation. Supporting product launches -- creating imagery, writing product descriptions and specifications that inform and convert. Designing on-brand marketing materials using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Ensuring all imagery and documents you create are visually consistent with our brand identity and reflect current design trends. Running data analysis and performance reports to identify trends, low-performing products, and opportunities for improvement. Working with the General Manager to create quarterly promotional calendars and sales campaigns. Overseeing SEO research and implementation, using tools such as Moz, Ahrefs, or similar. Coordinating projects with the wider marketing team for social media content, influencer campaigns, and video/photo production. Maintaining and updating supporting materials such as technical guides and product information sheets.

What we're looking for

Proven experience in digital marketing, ideally in ecommerce. Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. A keen eye for design and attention to detail, ensuring all creative output aligns with our brand look and feel. An interest in interiors and design trends -- helping you create visuals that resonate with our customers. Experience in email and SMS marketing, ideally using Klaviyo, Attentive, or equivalent. Confident with data analysis, SEO research, and conversion rate optimisation. Excellent project management skills -- able to coordinate campaigns and work across teams. Strong copywriting skills with attention to detail and tone of voice. A self-starter who enjoys working proactively, identifying opportunities, and driving improvements. Experience with Google Ads is a bonus but not essential.

Why join us

Be part of a small, passionate team where your ideas and input truly make a difference. A role with variety and ownership, spanning creative, analytical, and strategic work.
