We are looking for a

Digital Marketing Manager

to take ownership of our paid and performance marketing strategy : maintaining what works, innovating where we can grow, and delivering strong, measurable ROI across all digital channels.

This is a

hands-on, strategic role

suited to someone with proven digital marketing experience who enjoys data-driven decision-making and performance optimisation. You'll join a business with

established marketing systems, tools, and a solid track record

, but with significant room to grow and refine activity further.

Your Role at ProtectaPet



As our

sole in-house marketer

, you'll take the lead on planning, managing, and optimising digital marketing activity, working directly with the Communications Director. You'll also collaborate with a network of

trusted freelancers and external partners

including, creative agencies, PPC specialists, and content providers to execute campaigns.

With proven success, this role offers a clear opportunity to

grow and lead an internal marketing team

as ProtectaPet continues to scale.

This is a

full-time, in-person role

, but part-time arrangements (Monday to Friday) may be considered for the right candidate.

Your Responsibilities



Develop, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns across

Google Ads (Search, Display, and Cross-Network)

,

Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

, and

TikTok

. Manage and allocate a

six-figure annual marketing budget

to ensure maximum ROI. Analyse campaign performance, identify insights, and translate data into actionable strategies. Report on key metrics and recommendations to senior management. Develop and test new digital tactics and channels to drive acquisition and engagement. Support ongoing

SEO and organic traffic growth

, collaborating with external partners where appropriate. Lead

campaign ideation and digital strategy development

, providing creative direction for assets produced by external partners. Maintain consistent reporting frameworks, data integrity, and performance documentation. Stay ahead of emerging trends and tools, particularly in

AI and digital marketing best practices

.

Desirable Skills and Experiences



3-5 years in a similar digital marketing role (agency or client-side). Strong

paid media expertise

(Google Ads and Meta). Experience with

analytics tools

such as Google Analytics 4 and Tag Manager. Proven ability to interpret and act on marketing data to improve ROI. Confident managing and allocating

six-figure budgets

across channels. Working knowledge of

SEO

and organic traffic strategies. Advanced

Excel/Google Sheets

skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and data formulas). Excellent communication and reporting skills, with experience presenting insights to senior management.
