Lake District Giveaways (LDG) is looking for a creative, data-driven Marketing Manager to take the lead on all things paid, organic, and email marketing.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be inside Meta Ads Manager daily, creating campaigns, analysing performance, and producing content that drives real sales. Working closely with the directors and wider team, you'll deliver bold, on-brand campaigns that push LDG's next level of growth.
Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Delivery
Plan, execute, and manage weekly competition launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Oversee creative scheduling and posting across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and email.
Produce and adapt content including images, short-form video, and copy in line with LDG's premium, fun brand identity.
Collaborate with the directors to ensure all marketing activity is visually strong, on-brand, and commercially focused.
Paid Social Advertising
Own the Meta Ads account, creating, managing, and optimising campaigns for maximum ROI.
Manage full-funnel strategy including prospecting, retargeting, and re-engagement.
Build and maintain campaign structures, budget pacing, and performance dashboards.
Run A/B tests on creative, copy, and audiences, and report learnings weekly.
Analyse conversion data to reduce CPA and increase ticket sales.
Email Marketing & Customer Retention
Manage and optimise LDG's email marketing from start to finish including strategy, design, automation, and performance.
Build audience segments, automations, and campaigns for launches, reminders, and winner showcases.
Write strong, high-converting copy aligned with LDG's tone of voice.
Analyse open rates, click-throughs, and conversions to improve performance.
Ensure email campaigns integrate seamlessly with social and ad activity.
Organic Social Media
Plan, post, and engage daily to keep LDG's community active and growing.
Create reels, stories, and posts that highlight winners, behind-the-scenes content, and authentic brand energy.
Respond to community interactions professionally and on-brand.
Help shape the creative direction of future campaign ideas.
Data, Reporting & Strategy
Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports across all channels.
Analyse trends in engagement, conversion, and ad performance to identify growth opportunities.
Make proactive, data-led recommendations to improve performance and efficiency.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience running paid campaigns through Meta Ads Manager, managing budgets, and delivering measurable ROAS.
Proven experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp, including automation, segmentation, and reporting.
Strong creative and analytical balance with the ability to design assets, write copy, and interpret data confidently.
Comfortable taking full ownership of marketing results.
Excellent written and verbal communication with a strong grasp of social media tone and trends.
Highly organised with the ability to plan and deliver multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Desirable
Experience in e-commerce, raffle, or online competition sectors.
Skills in Canva, Photoshop, or video-editing tools such as Premiere Pro or CapCut.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and conversion tracking setups.
KPIs & Success Measures
Increased conversion rate and ticket sales through Meta Ads and email marketing.
Strong ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) with efficient CPA control.
Growth in LDG's organic reach and engagement.
High deliverability and click-through rates on email campaigns.
Consistent, high-quality creative output matching LDG's brand standards.
Salary & Benefits
28,000 - 32,000 per year (dependent on experience)
