About the Role
Are you a digital marketing professional with a sharp eye for website optimisation, user experience, and data-led decisions?
HSDC is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Officer to take ownership of our website, ensuring it delivers an exceptional user experience and remains fully aligned with our brand and strategic goals.
You will lead on the management, optimisation and continuous improvement of the HSDC website. From ensuring our content is accurate, engaging and up to date, to analysing user behaviour and making data-informed recommendations and changes, you'll be pivotal in enhancing our digital presence.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for: Deliver the digital marketing strategy for HSDC. With a view to strengthening the college's digital offer and online marketing activity across a broad range of channels.
Offer guidance and expertise on digital platforms, specifically website andsocial media user experience, to various stakeholders.
Manage and optimise the college websites with a focus on, SEO, strategic development, creative content, accessibility, analytics UX and tracking.
Drive our online presence forward through innovation utilising relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
You'll be a confident digital professional with a proactive mindset and the ability to work both strategically and tactically.
You'll have:
Demonstrable experience managing and optimising websites (ideally in WordPress)
Strong knowledge of website UX, content best practices, and SEO
Demonstrable experience of analysing social media channels and the ability to ensure best practice for these (content creation and scheduling managed separately)
Experience reporting on digital performance and user engagement and the confidence to offering actionable insights to senior stakeholders
Experience using digital analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar)
A data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
The confidence to work independently, while collaborating closely with the rest of the team.
