DotGO are looking for a digital marketer to join our newly-formed digital marketing department.
We are the UK's most trusted website design company and we work exclusively with micro and small businesses.
Our digital marketing department help existing DotGO clients grow their business through clear, jargon-free marketing packages that focus on real outcomes such as acquiring quality leads, increasing brand visibility, and selling products.
This is not a hard-sales agency role - but you will be expected to onboard.
At it's core, the role is about helping small business owners understand how digital marketing can help their business, running marketing campaigns for clients and strategizing on how best to allocate a client's budget to achieve the best results.
A lot of our clients have never touched digital marketing before, so being able to explain how it can help and accurately forecast results is key.
The Role
We're looking for a people-focused, marketing-savvy individual to become the first point of contact for DotGO clients who are looking to boost their website with digital marketing.
You'll guide clients through onboarding
help them understand the marketing packages we offer
forecast outcomes using tools
build landing pages, contact forms and visual assets
act as their dedicated account manager
You don't need to be a deep technical specialist - but you do need a solid grounding in SEO, PPC or paid social, and a genuine interest in how marketing helps small businesses grow.
This role sits at the intersection of client success, marketing strategy, and commercial thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding & Relationship Management
Onboard new clients from our existing pool of DotGO customers
Run friendly, structured onboarding calls to understand goals, services, locations and expectations
Explain marketing concepts clearly and without jargon
Set expectations around timelines, outcomes, and next steps
Be the named point of contact for your clients
Marketing Coordination & Campaign Creation
Gather and document key information needed for SEO, PPC or social campaigns
Plan campaign strategies based on client goals and aspirations
Build marketing campaigns on Google, Bing and Meta
Design landing pages, visual assets and write ad copy
Write ongoing SEO optimised blog posts and social media posts
Identify opportunities for sensible upsells (e.g. blogs, retargeting, GBP optimisation) based on results -- never pressure
Client Advocacy & Feedback
Act as the voice of the client internally
Capture feedback on lead quality, results, and experience
Help spot issues early and keep clients confident and informed
Reduce client churn
What We're Looking For

We need a critical and strategic thinker who is empathetic and curious.
Comfortable selling contracted packages and closing deals.
You must be organised, reliable and punctual.
While the role does include training, we are always looking for new knowledge and welcome any guidance and advice you can bring to our fledgling department.
