We are seeking a Website Assistant who is passionate about travel, hospitality, and digital innovation to support our growing marketing team.
Role Summary
The Website Assistant will support the planning, execution, and optimisation of our online marketing efforts across all brands within the group. This includes assisting with website updates, day-to-day website maintenance, API changes & updates and SEO optimisation to increase visibility, engagement, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Website Maintenance & Day-to-day Management
Oversee day-to-day website maintenance including discovery and resolution of bugs, errors/issues
Continual development of rental brand websites including implementation of new features, API changes & updates
Website building for future acquisitions
Upload and update website content, property listings, and imagery via the CMS (e.g. bespoke platform/ WordPress).
Ensure website content aligns with brand tone, SEO best practices, and promotional campaigns.
Assist in optimising all website pages and metadata to enhance organic search performance, based on recommendations
Assist in execution of website digital marketing campaigns
Platforms
Ensuring platforms are operating correctly from a marketing perspective, such as:
Branding, consistency in language and voice, conversion tracking
Implementation, creative set up and campaign management for AWIN (Affiliate Window)
Assigning publishers, creative for display ads, tracking links, adhoc opportunities
Implementation and management of Feefo and its creative assets
Implementation of additional website settings, eg. Livechat
Configuration of tracking for internal custom software
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
1-2 years' experience in a digital marketing or marketing assistant role (agency or in-house).
Knowledge of web design, HTML, CSS and basic photo/image editing
Knowledge of CMS platforms and review platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about digital marketing.
Desirable
Experience within the travel, leisure, or property rental sectors.
Familiarity with tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, HubSpot.
Understanding of CRM systems and data segmentation.
