Implementation of our electronic patient record will provide clinicians with real-time patient information to ensure timely and informed clinical decision making. This role will ensure that clinical teams are supported to use Digital systems safely and efficiently, striving for digitally optimised workflows and seeking digital innovation opportunities.
The Digital Matron is a key leadership role in continuing our digital transformation journey and delivering the best from our ePR. Being part of the Digital Clinical Team, working across all sites to support clinical users to embrace digital working and promote best practice, clinical safety and promoting best health outcomes for our patients.
Lead ePR activities on behalf of the CNIO
Be responsible for ensuring safe clinical governance is applied to digital workflow changes within the ePR
Promote clinical safety of digital processes
Provide operational management and clinical leadership to the team
Champion the NMAHP workforce in a Digital space though clinical engagement and coordination of work
Provide effective clinical and professional leadership that align with organisational values and behaviours
Proactively promote equality, diversity and inclusion for service users and employees
Promote an environment which is conducive to learning, education, training, research and development, fostering innovative practice and proactively working to improve continuous improvement of digital resources in a clinical environment
Act as a change agent, developing organisational capacity and developing digital capability to support continuous quality improvement

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
