We are currently seeking to recruit a Digital Media Creator/Editor to join our FoE Production House. This role is fully remote with time split between home and any necessary on-site project requirements.

The Digital Media Creator role will assist project leads in the creation of digital assets to be used within our training content. This includes an emphasis on filming and video including Dunton, Cologne, Valencia, and Daventry and as well as any other European markets as required. Plus the occasional creation of rapid e-learning modules from scripts, animations, and explainer videos, and still photographs, and visual assets such as e-brochures, certificates, and posters.

This role forms part of our FoE Production House, who are responsible for designing and creating learning solutions. The Digital Media Creator will lead the scoping, production of video-only projects, and support our Designers by working to their briefs and creating digital assets that form part of their proposed solutions. The Digital Media Creator will also support events and other training by liaising with stakeholders to agree requirements, filming with our in-house camera equipment.

Key Responsibilities



Pre-production

Analyse client requirements: attend scoping sessions, interrogate the brief, and scope out a suitable solution. Providing guidance to others on the effective use of video in training materials. Create and maintain a project plan to manage the steps through pre-production, production, and post-production with breakdown of tasks, deadlines, and task duration. Manage own workload of projects, agreeing priorities with Design Lead / Project Manager, and working to time and budget. Create and manage a shot list for filming, to specify equipment, locations and people involved. Manage stakeholders in the FoE team, to communicate progress, deal with scope creep and manage expectations. Able to work autonomously for video-only projects, or part of a team where video is part of a blended solution. Adhering to in-house procedures and processes for workflow, project progression, file management, archiving and rights permissions. Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance our video outputs through building key relationships.
Production

Setting up and operating cameras, lights, microphones, and other video equipment. Filming of live and streamed events. Filming on location in UK and across Europe as required. Directing or coordinating the action, where others are involved, either behind or in front of the camera

About You



2+ years of experience of creating digital media content, with a strong focus on video from pre-production to post-production, and animation creation. Demonstrable experience of Adobe Creative Cloud software to edit and manipulate media, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator. Desirable - experience of Articulate Rise for development of rapid e-learning. Experience working within the automotive industry would be particularly advantageous. Undergraduate University degree or relevant industry equivalent experience. Excellent knowledge of: Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Articulate Rise. Knowledge of Vimeo, PageTiger and Vyond preferred (upskilling can be provided) Strong visual design skills. An interest in digital media and keeping abreast with industry trends and best practice. A passion for developing learning content that is fun and engaging. Ability to learn new software quickly. Able to collaborate as part of a team, take direction from others, and work alone as a self-starter. Good customer relationship and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail and strong focus on quality control. Ability to be creative and innovative within tight time constraints. Must be able to travel to locations on request. Collaborative mindset, enthusiastic and engaging. Well organised, with professional attitude and well-presented. An interest in the automotive industry would be an advantage.

Salary & Benefits:

Up to 40,000 dependant on experience. Working Hours:

Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week

Place of Work:

Fully remote split between working from home and on-site project requirements. Occasional travel to offices in Essex & Daventry and overseas in Europe is required.
