is looking for a

Digital Platforms Producer

to join its Content Team. The role will be responsible for managing and publishing engaging digital content across our website and mobile app, supporting fan engagement efforts for the Barclays WSL, Barclays WSL2, and the Subway Women's League Cup.

Women's football has grown rapidly, acquiring over 10 million fans since 2021. This role will play a crucial part in delivering personalised and innovative digital experiences, engaging our passionate, diverse, and growing audience.



The Digital Platforms Producer will oversee content publishing, personalisation, and content automation across WSL Football's digital platforms, including editorial management, video content, and gamification experiences. This role will sit within the broader MarComms team comprising Brand, Content, Comms, Digital Products and CRM and this role will report into our Content Manager.



During the football season, weekend working will be required when fixtures are taking place across the Barclays WSL, Barclays WSL2 and Subway Women's League Cup. Days off will be taken during the week (5 days working per week, 2 days off). The role will be split between WFH and our offices in Farringdon, with 2 days required in the office.


Location







This role will operate on a hybrid working model, working in line with the football calendar. You will be required to work on weekends when fixtures are taking place with 2 days per week based at our office in Farringdon, Central London, and 3 days working from home.




What will you be doing?




Manage the content programming and personalisation to curate the storytelling of our digital platforms (web, app and WhatsApp). Maintain a content calendar in coordination with the social and marketing teams. Collaborate with the wider content, CRM, and product teams to enhance personalisation and content automation. Oversee production of editorial, short-form, long-form videos, and vertical stories for web, app & WhatsApp. Collaborate with the wider content team to configure weekly gamification and develop innovative fan-focused gaming experiences. Optimise content automation processes. Become an expert in user segmentation and apply insights for targeted content delivery. Collaborate with developers, designers and UX teams to improve user experience and platform functionality Ensure all content aligns with the WSL's brand voice end editorial standards. Implement SEO best practices across written and multimedia content. Occasionally manage additional freelance resource to assist you on match weekends. Analyse performance data using tools like Google Analytics and provide regular insights and recommendations to optimise platform performance. Executes additional tasks as required to meet Women's Super League Football's changing priorities. Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained. As part of the Women's Super League Football's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.



What are we looking for?







Essential for the role:


Proven experience managing, planning and publishing content across digital platforms. Proficient using the following platforms: DAM, CDP, CMS, user analytics tools (such as GA4, Amplitude, or Mixpanel etc.) Strong understanding of content personalisation and audience segmentation. Collaborative team-player who can work with colleagues to complete tasks at a fast-pace. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Creative mindset and passion for fan engagement. Familiarity with SEO principles, analytics tools and digital performance metrics. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.




Beneficial to have:


Passion for and good knowledge of women's professional football. Familiarity with video clipping tools like WSC, Magnifi etc Previous experience in sports, media, or related digital content roles. Familiarity with content testing and optimisation techniques.
