The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a charity that provides a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service, seasonal lifeguards, and water safety education and initiatives. Our lifeboat crews and lifeguards need a dedicated, professional and talented team behind them, and that is where you come in. This is your chance to join that team and help save lives every day.

Working together with partners and communities, we aim to educate, influence, supervise and rescue those at risk from drowning. We see digital technologies as crucial in helping us achieve this goal.

You'll join our Digital Production team in driving performance of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) across RNLI.org, sister sites and related systems in line with our organisational objectives. This means you will be working with the Search Lead to deliver against the search roadmap; defining, prioritising and implementing SEO and SEM initiatives. You'll be experienced in refining processes and focussed on delivering quality and valuable outcomes across paid and organic search.

You'll be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement in line with our Digital Principles, which include; deep understanding of search techniques, using search tools such as SEMRush and Google Search Console, monitoring impact through analytics data, and working collaboratively. A hands-on approach and digital search expertise is key - across technical and content domains. You'll be looking to make a real impact on our mission to prevent drowning and raise essential funds.

Building strong relationships across organisational teams, you'll work closely with our Marketing, Creative Services and the wider Digital team, acting as an advocate, collaborator and catalyst for work throughout. With one eye on the future, you'll look for opportunities to grow your skills and share learnings with the team.
