Centrica Home focuses on world class customer experience and highly attractive and compelling product and service propositions for our British Gas and Hive brands.


The

Digital Product Manager

role is pivotal for our Hive and British Gas brands to design world-class user-experiences across our digital products, working with design and engineering teams to ensure alignment with commercial goals and customer needs. Focused on making complex information simple and consumable in digital channels - the overall outcome is to increase customer confidence and trust.


With over 30m bills sent annually the opportunity to make an impact is huge, and the ideal candidate will have a passion for distilling the detail, obsessive about getting customer needs met and combining journeys to create an eco-system that works in support of the customer.

Responsibilities of the role:



Manage the definition and prioritisation of requirements, including maintaining the product roadmap and backlogs for your respective digital journeys and in-life experiences Support Senior Product Managers in managing and prioritising bug fixes and resolutions Work closely with Senior Product Managers to identify opportunities, customer needs and use-cases for digital journey development Continuously seek customer feedback, and champion action plans to resolve pain points to maintain a market leading NPS Take responsibility for the overall performance of the products you're supporting on, with a focus on continuous service improvement and iteration Lead project delivery with support from operational teams to deliver a high-quality product and outstanding customer experience from trials to full implementation Represent the products / projects throughout the organisation, keeping teams informed of progress and identifying new opportunities to deliver value to customers, colleagues, and business units Maintain a strong understanding of the wider market, including competitor activity, and how our solutions compare Share best practice in product management and project delivery across the teams Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders from across the wider organisation Cultivate an environment of diversity, transparency, and trust, where your squad feel empowered to share ideas, be challenged and fulfil their potential

Here's what we're looking for:



Product Management or relevant experience. Experience working with complex data and making easy to consume by the customer is desired Strong technical skills with either web and mobile development, Salesforce experience is a plus Significant experience of defining user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to define and scope new product features Significant experience of product backlog management and feature / ticket prioritisation Excellent communication skills: whether it's explaining complex technical architecture or articulating the benefits of the product to different stakeholders, you adapt your message to fit the audience and keep it simple wherever possible Excellent problem-solving skills: you take time to understand the issue(s) and enjoy finding different solutions that make use of the available tools Experience in working in cross-functional teams across large, complex organisations is a plus Experience of working in agile project delivery teams A genuine enthusiasm for problem solving and product development
