As our Digital Products Manager, you'll shape the future of Edgbaston's digital platforms, leading the roadmap for our website and mobile app, driving innovation, and ensuring every user interaction is seamless, engaging, and best in class. This is a hands-on, strategic role where your ideas and technical insight will have a visible impact on how supporters connect with our Club.
You'll work closely with teams across the organisation, turning business needs into smart digital solutions, managing development projects, and continuously improving performance through data, testing, and user feedback. Duties
Strategy & Planning
Define and own the product roadmap for the company's website and mobile app.
Translate business goals and customer needs into actionable product strategies.
Work closely with stakeholders to prioritise features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Benchmark and research emerging trends in web and mobile UX, digital platforms, and technologies.
Innovate product development and capabilities to be best in industry for delivery.
Briefing & Documentation
Build detailed product briefs, functional specifications, and user stories for web and app development projects.
Create user flows, journey maps, and wireframes to communicate requirements to design and development teams.
Manage and maintain a backlog of digital projects and enhancements using tools such Trello
Execution & Delivery
Oversee day-to-day management of digital products and content upload, ensuring smooth operation and timely updates.
Test new features and releases, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure functionality and performance.
Ensure digital experiences are optimised for usability, accessibility, SEO, and analytics.
Support app and website release cycles, ensuring smooth deployment and communication.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all digital product-related projects.
Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Liaise between design, marketing, development, content and senior leadership to ensure alignment.
Performance & Optimisation
Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase and other dashboards) to monitor and report on digital performance.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation of digital experiences.
Manage A/B testing, feedback loops, and user research initiatives to inform future product decisions.

Experience
3-6 years of experience in digital product management, ideally with both web and mobile app exposure.
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, user journey mapping, and information architecture.
Demonstrated experience writing product briefs, functional specs, and user stories.
Ability to interpret analytics data and derive actionable insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Technical literacy to work effectively with developers (basic understanding of APIs, CMS, SDKs, etc.).
A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented mindset with strong project management capabilities.
Experience with eCommerce or content-driven platforms.
Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or CMS management (WordPress, Gamechanger, etc.).
Understanding of App Store / Play Store release processes and analytics.
Qualifications
Certification or formal training in Product Management, UX Design, or Agile Delivery.
