• To develop and maintain high quality and innovative Digital solutions providing marketing leading Digital customer experiences
• To collaborate with teams in product, delivery, test and service to deliver scalable and secure solutions in line with business ambitions
• The role will create new standards, collaboration and governance structures for
• Engineering, using modern techniques and technologies with a focus on continuous improvement

• Welcome and can support business change in terms of new and evolving processes that will support Greene King Digital delivery and development
• Proactive and able to enhance and evolve all aspects of themselves and the team in terms of new process, software and techniques
• Strong experience in developing solutions using a range of technologies including .net, node, JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.JS, react, Kotlin and Swift.
• Experience of building Digital platforms (Web, App) or integration (API & Microservices) solutions
• Hands-on experience of cloud-based environment builds using Microsoft Azure or AWS in a structured way using infrastructure as code
• Hands on experience of building and maintaining software toolsets and pipelines to support automated and robust software development practices
• Experience of security solutions and controls that must be used in Digital
• Experience of developing CMS solutions such as Sitecore
• Experience of building native mobile application solutions
• Detailed experience of modern authentication/ authorisation approaches using as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML
• Experience of working with Open-source components and packages, understanding the opportunities and risks associated
• Experience of defining, governing and evolving engineering principles
• Strong knowledge of software development standards and best practises such as TDD, BDD
• Experience of creating technical documentation to support solution design, delivery, and release activities
• Experience of working with 3rd party engineering teams to collaborate and deliver solutions
• Experience with using Observability tooling to monitor platform health
• Experience of Event driven Architecture patterns
• Familiar with building out HA/DR compliant solutions that can handle scaled public Digital solutions
• Computer Science degree
• Interest in AI
• Certifications in Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and integration platforms
