Job Description

This is an exciting time for the Cobalt Digital and Transformation team. Significant investment has been made in our infrastructure, systems and new staffing resource and you will be part of a dynamic, innovative team with wide-ranging responsibilities to deliver digital and transformational change across the whole organisation.


The Digital Support Officer role will be first point of contact for the Digital Help Desk, responsible for resolving problems quickly and effectively. The role is focussed on supporting Cobalt Housing Property Services (CHPS) part of the business primarily which is moving into a new building in Villiers Court and growing rapidly but you will also provide support for wider business too

.

The role requires an individual who is pro-active and enthusiastic, and able to work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service for our colleagues. You will also help train new members of staff on some basic uses of our systems and applications, as well as providing the new hardware colleagues need to complete their role effectively.


The role will also be actively involved in the Digital and Transformation Programme, a large scale and exciting programme delivering systems and applications from and for individuals teams up to whole business wide solutions. You will have the opportunity and required to be involved in the specification of these solutions, help decide the provider and play a central role in its implementation.


This is a development role so you will be working closely with Digital colleagues across Applications, Project Management, Infrastructure, Networking and Cyber Security and Data, as well as with colleagues in the Transformation team to understand ways we can improve our service provision to colleagues and the wider organisation. The role will be provided with a wide range of learning and training opportunities so that you are able to build your skills and expertise rapidly. The role will also work closely with the existing two Digital Support Officers.


The post holder will work with individuals and teams across the organisation in delivery of the Digital Support function.
