Digital Systems Integration Specialist

Job Description

The RSNHSFT is seeking to recruit an experienced Digital Systems Integration Specialist on a 24 Month Fixed Term, with the potential for extension.



This role has direct responsibility for the delivery of Integration Services within the portfolio, by providing the first point of contact to System Owners and users whose application integrate through the TIE.



The post holder will work largely independently as a specialist leading a small team, delivering and contributing at a highly technical level to the analysis, design, programming, integration and/or configuration work associated with the major development and routine deployment of integration requirements to support the delivery of the EPR.



This will involve regular interaction with the wider Oracle Millennium Team, Trust IT team, clinical and business service leads, consultants, senior nursing staff and other senior clinical leads within the Trust, members of the Trust Executive Team, suppliers and in some cases, senior members of other organisations.



This is a 'hands on' role that involves managing the development and configuration of electronic systems, availability management, change management and ensuring data integrity. The post holder will provide expert tier 3 support for critical application software used at the Trust and across the Health community.



The IT team works core hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with hybrid options. The candidate will be flexible to adapt to the department's operational needs.



To manage the development, configuration and monitoring of the Trust's Integration Engine (TIE) in order to support all interfacing activities which form the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR). Working closely with Clinical and Administrative Subject Matter Experts to identify integration requirements throughout the lifecycle of Clinical Application Projects, from initiation to post go live.



To constantly review the integration architecture and using expert knowledge develop improvement plans and lead on delivery to ensure systems are reliable and resilient. Ensuring robust arrangements are in place for maintenance which are regularly reviewed.

As a member of a highly skilled team, the post holder will work largely independently as a specialist leading a small team, delivering and contributing at a highly technical level to the analysis, design, programming, integration and/or configuration work associated with the major development and routine deployment of integration requirements to support the delivery of the EPR.



This will involve regular interaction with the wider Oracle Millennium Team, Trust IT team, clinical and business service leads, consultants, senior nursing staff and other senior clinical leads within the Trust, members of the Trust Executive Team, suppliers and in some cases, senior members of other organisations.



This is a 'hands on' role that involves managing the development and configuration of electronic systems, availability management, change management and ensuring data integrity. The post holder will also provide specialist escalated tier 3 support for relevant critical application software used at the Trust and more widely across the Health community.
