Contract: Temporary, full-time (36 hours pw, typically Mon-Fri / 9-5)

One of our public sector clients is looking for a Digital Systems Project Manager to oversee the upgrades of legacy systems, while maintaining existing services. This is a long-term temporary position, with the desire is to make it a permanent position, so suited to someone who is looking for a long-term role, and a chance to get their foot in the door with a leading public sector organisation. They offer flexible start/finish times and hybrid working once you're up to speed. Best suited to those with experience of managing projects, managing enterprise / organisation wide systems, maintaining them, migrating to new systems, managing overall system licences, overall maintenance and upgrade of systems, collaborating across the organisation and liaising with suppliers. Requirements
IT Degree or similar
Strong experience of managing organisation wide systems
Strong experience of working with suppliers and managing client relationships
Experience of preparing for ISO certification would be great to have
Experience of system upgrades and cloud migrations would be great to have
Positive team player and confident communicator
What you'll do as a Digital Systems Project Manager
Manage and participate in the development and implementation of existing systems and new projects to meet business goals and objectives.
Manage the day-to-day IT Systems Service Requests and Incidents using a Service Management tool, ensuring SLA standards are in place and met both internally and externally. This includes working with a wide range of external suppliers and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Responsible for the management of existing and new systems infrastructure, ensuring compatibility, security and asset management across all IT systems hardware, software and licensing.
Co-ordinate change release and change management activities associated with system upgrades or changes with all stakeholders.
To participate fully in quality initiatives particularly those involving the application of ISO standards
