Are you passionate about tech and eager to kickstart your IT career in a fast-paced and supportive environment? Eltherington Industries Ltd is looking for a Digital Technologies Apprentice to join their small, compelling IT team.



In this exciting role, you'll support the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of the digital applications and technologies. You'll work closely with both internal users and external IT providers to ensure their systems, tools, and infrastructure run efficiently and meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide first-line technical support for a range of digital applications - troubleshoot, configure, and resolve issues. Assist with the rollout of new software tools and system updates, including testing, training, and documentation. Support digital transformation initiatives and contribute to process improvements. Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and optimise system performance. Maintain accurate records of configurations, procedures, and operational processes. Monitor performance and feedback to drive continuous improvement. Manage user access, permissions, and ensure data integrity. Liaise with software vendors and service providers as needed. Assist with the installation and maintenance of hardware (PCs, laptops, telephony, Wi-Fi, barcode scanners, printers). Handle and process data securely in accordance with compliance standards.

The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship with the appointed provider, HBTC (www.hbtc.co.uk). An Apprenticeship allows you to acquire valuable skills and experience in your chosen sector, which improves your CV and employability when you've finished training. You'll learn in the work environment, developing the practical skills and understanding you need to excel in your role. This opportunity could also lead to permanent employment and progression opportunities.

Pay: 7.79-8.82 per hour
